Cordingley puzzle 224 #chess

November 11, 2013

Black to play and win

Solution

Fairly obvious today: 1…d3!! is a natural biff, and has to be looked at. If 2 Kd3, then 2…Rc2 3 Kc2 Nc5+ and if white plays Rb7+, then Nc5+ is a different fork.

As with many Munich Olympiad 1936 games, the score appears to be not available.
