Yet another example of Purdy’s mantra to ignore threats. 1…Rae8! and it is all over, since if say 2 Qf1, defending the Pf2, then 2….Qf2+! anyway, 3 Qf2 Re1 mate.  1…Rfe8 is equivalent.
