Daily chess puzzle: Check Mate #252

March 6, 2017

Another puzzle from Dragoslav Andric’s 1981 book “Matni Udar”.

Black to play and mate White

Bobotsov v Andric, Belgrade 1961

Easy today: 1…Rc3 destroys the threat to g7, so that on the next move Rc1+ or Qf3 happen, with carnage.
